About Naples Park
NAPLES PARK
The affordable, and accessible community of Naples Park, Florida was initially developed in the 1950’s, with approximately 150 homes built in that era. Growth was sluggish, many roads were left unpaved, but in the 1970’s and 1980’s, construction improved and the majority of homes built during that time totaled about 2,000. Naples Park is in a designated, prime location, from 111th Avenue to 91st Avenue, between Vanderbilt Drive and U.S. 41 also called Tamiami Trail. Back in the day North Naples was not a considered to be a desirable location to live as it was too remote for some and off the beaten path to others, in regards to its proximity to the beaches of Naples. Of course, preferred and desirable locations in Naples were situated on exclusive beachfront parcels or were properties located close to beach and Gulf accesses but they were not affordable by any means to so many, which is what made Naples Park so attractive to the average Naples family. Today, Naples Park is considered to be a gem of an area and is flourishing with nearly 7,000 residents, and for the first time is approaching ‘build out’.
