If you are looking to be as close to the beach as possible you will likely want to scope out the ’500 Block’. This is the first block removed from Vanderbilt Drive. It is called the ’500 Block’ because all the addresses start with a 5. Naples Park has 20 avenues that run east-west and is divided by three streets. The avenues are 91st all the way up to 111th, or Bluebill. The streets are 6th, 7th, and 8th. Running parallel to the west of 6th is Vanderbilt Dr and running parallel to the east of 8th St is US41, or Tamiami Trail N. Generally, the most sought after locations are those closest to 111th (Bluebill) and Vanderbilt Beach Rd. These are your anchor streets that will get residents of Naples Park to the beaches. From Vanderbilt Beach Rd you can get to Vanderbilt Beach and from Bluebill you can go straight to Delnor-Wiggins State Park.
If you are on the 500 block of 110th or 91st you are clearly less than one mile to the beach. The 500 block is also desirable because you are close to Vanderbilt Dr which has a great path. You will see people walking their dog, strolling on their bikes, and a steady line of joggers. On the west side of Vanderbilt Drive is Connors. Residents there enjoy canals with quick Gulf access. Some Naples Park residents have can al views if they are located right on Vanderbilt Drive.
One of the newest phenomenons is buyers like to be at the south end of Naples Park so that they have quick access to The Mercato. The Mercato is the newest outdoor mall in Naples. Naples Park owners appreciate the convenience of walking over to the Whole Foods or some of the more trendy restaurants in Naples.
